Associate Director – Government Pricing

Job Description:

• support the accurate calculation and timely submission of all required government price reporting
• assure compliance with pricing and reporting requirements legislated by CMS, VA and state legislation
• calculate, validate and report accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual government pricing
• submit and monitor State Price Transparency regulations
• perform necessary processes for compliant submissions including G/L reconciliations and Class of Trade review
• review calculations with Senior Management and obtain approval signoff
• maintain and update SOP’s and reasonable assumptions on a quarterly basis
• monitor policies and procedures to ensure compliance with external and internal requirements
• perform pricing research and analysis on special projects
• serve as a liaison with Commercial Leadership, Pricing, Trade, Brand and Accounting/Finance teams

Requirements:

• bachelor’s degree
• 7+ years prior experience in Government Pricing OR a related field such as finance, accounting, Medicare/Medicaid
• Strong analytical skills
• understanding of current government pricing rules, regulations, and calculations
• ability to identify potential problems, conduct analysis, and offer solutions
• ability to analyze, interpret, and convey data and its commercial impact
• ability to decipher calculations to determine key causes of variances
• familiarity with Fair Market Value methodology while determining bona fide service fees
