Communicate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide updates on loan status. Utilize industry knowledge and market research to identify potential risks and opportunities for loan applicants. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and bank policies and procedures. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance underwriting skills and knowledge of industry trends. Maintain accurate and organized records of loan files and documentation. Proactively identify and address any potential issues or concerns related to loan applications. Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment by sharing knowledge and best practices. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures for more efficient and effective underwriting. Represent the bank in a professional manner and uphold the bank's values and reputation. Act as a mentor and resource for junior underwriters in the Commercial Underwriting Program.
