Contract Writer - A Book For Women Struggling with Comparison

Work from home Full-time role Hiring

Location: Remote Position Overview We are seeking a contract writer to develop and write a Christ-centered book focused on helping women overcoming comparison. This project will help readers unmask the subtle traps of comparison, evaluate the root desires of their hearts, and anchor their worth securely in their identity in Christ. We are open to different conceptual directions for this resource, including: A vulnerable, narrative-driven book that uses powerful personal storytelling, memoir-style reflection, and relatable lived experiences to expose the hidden ache of comparison in everyday life. This project will walk readers through the author's own struggles while seamlessly weaving in the biblical truths that offer genuine freedom, healing, and rest. A clinically informed, biblically integrated resource written by a licensed counselor or psychologist. This project would bridge the gap between mental health science, evidence-based therapeutic practices, and the foundational truths of Scripture. It will explore the psychological mechanisms behind comparison, social mirroring, insecurity, and shame, offering readers a scientifically backed, deep-diving, and spiritually vibrant path toward heart healing and true contentment in Christ. The ideal project will combine deep empathy and cultural relevance with rich biblical truth, moving past shallow "love yourself" platitudes to point readers to the transformative power of loving Christ more. Scope of Work Research, outline, and write a full-length manuscript (approximately 45,000–75,000 words) Collaborate closely with the editorial team through multiple rounds of revision Ensure theological alignment with The Daily Grace Co.’s doctrinal commitment Commitment Contract, per-project basis.
