Data Warehouse / SQL Developer Location: Remote Duration: 6 months Rate: $65-75/hr SSRS, Advanced SQL "Key Responsibilities Architecture & Strategy
- Designing and implementing cloud-based data warehouses using Azure Synapse Analytics (formerly SQL DW) to create a single source of truth.
- Building pipelines with Azure Data Factory (ADF) or Azure Databricks to ingest, transform, and load data from diverse sources into the warehouse.
- Developing dimensional models (fact and dimension tables) within the Gold layer of the Medallion architecture to enable efficient BI reporting.
- Tuning SQL queries, managing indexes, partitioning, and scaling Synapse compute resources to maintain high performance.
- ntegrating structured relational data with unstructured data from Azure Data Lake Analyze COBOL programs, copybooks, JCL workflows, CICS/IMS transactions, DB2 schemas, and VSAM files.
