Database Developer (SQL Server) W2 Only
Database Developer (SQL Server) Location: Remote (Candidates located within approximately one to 2 hours of Northbrook, Illinois preferred) Duration: Long Term Contract Position Overview We are seeking two experienced Database Developers with strong SQL Server development expertise to join a growing team. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting complex SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and database objects in a Microsoft SQL Server environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain SQL Server database solutionsWrite and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, views, and triggersAnalyze and improve database performance and query efficiencySupport data integration, reporting, and data management initiativesCollaborate with application developers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver database solutionsTroubleshoot database-related issues and provide production support as neededEnsure data integrity, security, and adherence to development standards
Required Qualifications
Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server developmentAdvanced SQL programming and query-writing skillsExperience developing stored procedures, functions, views, and database objectsStrong troubleshooting and performance tuning experienceAbility to work independently in a remote environmentStrong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)Experience supporting enterprise-scale databases and applicationsPrior experience working in Agile development environments
