Global Advertising Firm Seeks a Director of Accounting/Assistant Controller to Join its Team
- Reporting to the Global Controller
- Supervising a staff of 3
- Assist with NetSuite Implementation & Streamlining Accounting & Financial Operations
- Collaborate with FP&A, Finance Systems, and the Global Controller to Improve Reporting Accuracy, Automation, and Operational Efficiency
- Assist with Overseeing ASC 606 & Revenue Recognition Operations Globally
- Overseeing Global Accounting Operations & Financial Reporting- Latin America (Americas), Europe & Middle East/Asia
- Review Regional Financial Statements and Consolidations in Accordance with U.S. GAAP and Local Statutory Requirements
- Implement Scalable Accounting Processes and Drive System Enhancements to Support Global Growth and Reduce Manual Work
- Resolve Technical Accounting Issues Involving Revenue Recognition, Intercompany Transactions, Allocations, Leases, and Fixed Assets
- Liaison & Manage Relationship with External Accounting & Tax Auditors
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Partner with Executive Leadership and Investors on M&A Activity Supporting Due Diligence Identifying Accounting Risks and Advising on Deal Structure and Financial Implications
- Special Projects
Qualifications:
- 8-12 Years Corporate Accounting Experience- Strong NetSuite Experience a MUST
- Experience with Revenue Operations- ASC 606, etc.
- Strong Leadership/Supervisory Skills
- CPA & MST a plus
- NetSuite Experience
- Global Advertising Industry Experience a plus but Open to Industry
Base Salary ~200k. Role can be Fully Remote- but must be able to Travel to NYC Office for Major Meetings. Excellent Benefits and Full Comprehensive Package. Summer Hours & Six Weeks Vacation.
