Engine Field Service Technician

Job Summary:Diagnoses and completes less complex repairs to engines at the customer's site.We are looking for a talented Field Service Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Dubreuilville, ON).Rotational Position supporting Alamos Magino Mine near Dubreuilville, Ontario.Rotation is 7 days on, 7 days off - but subject to change to meet business requirements.Will make an impact in the following ways:Complete repairs on engine products in a service shopPerform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic toolsMaintain detailed records of serviced vehiclesAdhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policiesOngoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins productsMaintain own toolsIn order to be successful in this role you will need the following:Completes complex internal engine repairsPerforms engine overhauls unassistedDetailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and componentsProficient experience with engine diagnostic softwareRotational Position supporting Alamos Magino Mine near Dubreuilville, Ontario.Rotation is 7 days on, 7 days off - but subject to change to meet business requirements.Mining experience preferred.May be subject to Drug and Alcohol Testing-This role requires a 5 year motor vehicle report, free from major violations and must meet the conditions of the company policy,Education, Licenses, Certifications:Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)Vocational diploma from relevant technical institutionLocally valid driving permitThis position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.Experience:Basic level field service work experienceIntermediate level knowledge of and/or experience with engine productsCustomer service experienceCompensation and BenefitsBase salary rate commensurate with experience.
