As a remote data entry clerk, you will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our Help Desk technicians to provide top-notch customer service and support. Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part Time Data Entry Clerk to join our remote team. As a data entry clerk, you will be responsible for receiving and processing customer requests for technical assistance, submitting tickets into our ticketing system, and providing exceptional customer service through email responses. This is a part-time opportunity, with flexible hours and a competitive salary of up to $20 per hour, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process customer requests for technical assistance via phone, email, or online chat
  • Submit tickets into our ticketing system for Help Desk technicians to review
  • Review each open ticket to determine the outcome and update the customer accordingly
  • Email responses to customers to ensure they receive exceptional customer service and updates on their issues
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of customer interactions and ticket status
  • Collaborate with Help Desk technicians to resolve customer issues and provide timely updates Essential Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
  • Previous experience in I.T. Help Desk ticketing or online customer service for a technology company or busy online retailer
  • Excellent typing skills (minimum 40 wpm) and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with ticketing systems and customer relationship management software
  • Knowledge of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
  • Familiarity with online customer service platforms and tools
