Responsibilities

As a Remote Online Chat Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Answering incoming customer live chats regarding website navigation issues, service questions, and general client concerns
  • Evaluating customer interactions and elevating issues to the Online Chat Manager when appropriate
  • Building relationships with new customers to better understand and achieve their needs
  • Responding to customer questions, inquiries, requests, and problems accurately, concisely, and appropriately
  • Promoting interest in client products and services
  • Consistently achieving established standards of the position
  • Continually portraying and projecting a positive and professional image
  • Providing administrative support to the customer service team
  • May assist with overflow work and other duties as needed

Key Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in customer service, preferably in a remote or online setting
  • Strong telephone etiquette and communication skills
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and software
  • Excellent ability to manage multiple tasks at once and adapt to different personalities
  • A positive and professional attitude, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences
