Founding CTO (AI + Enterprise Financial Infrastructure )
About Strike SCF Strike SCF is building next-generation infrastructure for global trade finance. We are designing an AI-native system that modernizes how capital, risk, and operational data flow across supply chains connecting financial institutions, enterprises, and counterparties through a unified intelligence layer. The opportunity is to rebuild core financial and operational rails that currently rely on fragmented enterprise systems, manual workflows, and disconnected data sources.
About the Role
We are hiring a Founding Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to define and own the technical foundation of Strike SCF. This is a 0→1 systems role focused on building the architecture, primitives, and infrastructure that will support a complex, multi-party financial network. You will work directly with the founder and operate at the intersection of enterprise systems, financial infrastructure, and applied AI.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end technical architecture across platform, data, and intelligence layers
- Design scalable systems for multi-entity financial workflows and enterprise-grade data orchestration
- Build infrastructure for identity, trust, and structured financial/operational data exchange
- Lead design of AI-driven decisioning systems for risk, underwriting, and workflow automation
- Architect secure, compliant, and extensible systems suitable for regulated financial environments
- Define engineering standards, system design principles, and early technical team structure
- Make high-leverage technical decisions across platform, infrastructure, and AI integration
What We’re Looking For
- Experience building enterprise-scale systems (fintech, SCF, SCM, ERP, banking, or complex SaaS platforms)
- Strong background in distributed systems, backend architecture, or platform engineering
- Familiarity with financial workflows, supply chain systems, or enterprise data models
- Experience working with or designing large-scale, multi-stakeholder systems
- Ability to operate in high-ambiguity, 0→1 environments with significant ownership
- Preferred / Bonus
- Prior experience in Supply Chain Finance (SCF), Supply Chain Management (SCM), or ERP systems
- Experience with AI/ML systems or LLM-based automation workflows
- Ex-founder or early technical co-founder experience
- Background in fintech infrastructure, credit systems, or regulated platforms
- Experience scaling systems in enterprise or mission-critical environments
Compensation
This is a founding leadership opportunity designed for entrepreneurial technologists who are motivated by meaningful equity ownership and long-term value creation. Compensation includes meaningful founding equity and the opportunity to play a central role in building both the technology and the company. The compensation structure is designed to align ownership, long-term incentives, and company growth. Location Remote (United States only) San Francisco Bay Area candidates are a plus.
