Junior Cloud Engineer (Hybrid)
Industrial Security Integrators, LLC (ISI Enterprises) is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cloud Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, focusing on device management, client onboarding, and cloud setup.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and support of Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud environments, including Intune, SharePoint, Purview, Defender and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
- Perform M365 Intune device management, including enrollment, compliance policies, and configuration rollouts
- Support cloud setup tasks such as creating client sites, organizations, and initial configurations within Microsoft cloud platforms
- Provide assistance in cloud migration projects with a basic understanding of migration workflows and best practices
- Participate in technical client onboarding, including device rollouts and environment setup
- Develop and maintain documentation, SOPs, and technical guides to ensure consistency and repeatability
- Communicate effectively with clients, provide progress updates, and collaborate with project managers and senior engineers
- Apply a basic understanding of CMMC (Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification) principles to client environments where applicable
Skills
- Current, interim eligibility or previous security clearance
- Candidates must have held or currently hold a clearance, or have documented eligibility based on a favorable background investigation
- Interim clearances will be accepted for consideration
- U.S. citizenship is required by federal regulation
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure environments, including Intune, SharePoint and Entra ID
- Understanding of device enrollment processes and troubleshooting in M365/Azure
- Exposure to or understanding of cloud setup and migration concepts
- Ability to create clear and accurate documentation and SOPs
- Ability to follow processes while identifying opportunities for improvement
- Proficiency with basic PowerShell scripting
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to provide updates and track progress
- Proactive, initiative-taking mindset, with a willingness to learn and grow in cloud technologies
- Process-oriented with excellent attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving abilities and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a technical team
