Lead GCP Engineer – Lead Architect
Job Description
- Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions on Google Cloud Platform
- Architect scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native and hybrid applications
- Lead migration and modernization initiatives, including re-platforming and transformation efforts
- Define and maintain cloud architecture standards and best practices
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines (Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent
- Automate provisioning, deployments, and operational workflows
- Ensure cloud solutions meet security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Act as technical lead for cross-functional cloud initiatives
- Collaborate with product and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 8+ years of software, cloud, or infrastructure engineering experience
- 4+ years of hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform
- Proven experience designing cloud-native and hybrid architectures
- Strong expertise in GCP core services and networking, Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization, CI/CD and DevOps practices, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred), Python, Java, Go, or similar languages
