Lead Power BI Developer
Lead Power BI Developer Our client, a growing Data & AI consultancy, is looking to hire a Power BI Developer to join their expanding team. This is an opportunity to work with a variety of clients across multiple industries, helping them transform data into actionable insights through modern reporting and analytics solutions. You will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reporting environments while working closely with both technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
- Build and optimize semantic models, datasets, and data visualizations
- Develop complex calculations and business logic using DAX
- Create and maintain data transformation processes using Power Query
- Work with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance across reporting environments
- Collaborate with data engineers and analytics teams to support end-to-end BI solutions
- Identify opportunities to improve reporting performance and user experience
- Support client-facing workshops, demonstrations, and training sessions where required
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience developing solutions in Power BI
- Strong experience with DAX, Power Query, and data modelling
- Advanced SQL skills
- Experience working with large-scale datasets and enterprise reporting environments
- Strong understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in consulting or client-facing environments is highly desirable
- Experience with Azure, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, or other modern data platforms is a plus
