- People & Performance Management: Recruit, develop, coach, and manage team performance
- Planning: Align team goals with divisional/corporate objectives; present plans to senior management
- Technical Expertise: Maintain expert knowledge of FedEx standards, regulations, and business environment; provide advice on complex issues
- Processes & Procedures: Lead process improvements and best practice implementation
- Maximising Opportunities: Identify and evaluate business issues/opportunities; sponsor implementation of solutions
- Research & Analysis: Conduct analysis, prepare reports, and contribute to strategic planning
- Project Management: Oversee projects, ensure delivery within time and budget
- Budget Management: Manage departmental budget and optimize costs
- Compliance: Ensure activities meet internal policies and external regulations
- Alignments: Build strong networks internally and externally; represent company in external organizations
