Online Adjunct Faculty - IT & Networking
Job Summary & Qualifications: Teaching opportunity! Laurus College is seeking a knowledgeable, engaging IT & Networking Adjunct to join our online faculty team. This is a part-time teaching opportunity with paid training provided. If you’re passionate about technology and ready to help students turn curiosity into career-ready skills, we’d love to meet you. Employment is limited to candidates residing in the following states: AZ, CA, CO, DE, FL, GA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, MD, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, WA, WV
- Must be able to teach for an hour on Monday, Wednesday, & Thursday @ 8:00 A.M. and/or 11:00 A.M.*
Required Qualifications · Master’s degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity · Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or Cybersecurity · Minimum 2 years of professional experience in the IT field · Availability to teach synchronously via Teams · Strong working knowledge of: o Computer hardware and software o Advanced troubleshooting o Networking implementation and management o Cloud computing and hybrid systems Preferred:
- Teaching experience
- IT and cybersecurity certifications are a plus but not required
What You’ll Do · Deliver prepared IT and networking curriculum in an engaging online classroom environment · Lead virtual discussions that promote critical thinking and real-world application · Answer student questions and provide timely, constructive feedback · Grade assignments, projects, and assessments · Track student progress and maintain accurate academic records · Stay current with evolving technology trends and contribute to course updates · Communicate professionally and consistently with students and faculty About Laurus College Laurus College is dedicated to creating a learning environment where excellence and student support go hand in hand.
