Oral Surgery Billing Specialist
Job Description:
- Own the claims process for assigned Oral Surgery offices.
- Submit and manage insurance claims to ensure maximum reimbursement.
- Resolve claim denials by drafting and submitting appeals with supporting documentation.
- Post payments, pull electronic funds transfers (EFTs), and generate financial reports for assigned offices.
- Attend weekly client meetings to provide updates and address billing concerns.
- Ensure proper claim documentation by attaching narratives, images, and chart notes.
Requirements:
- At least one year of oral surgery billing experience required; two years preferred.
- Comfortable using dental practice management software (WINOMS, OMS Vision, Dentrix, Open Dental etc.) and Google Suite.
- Strong accuracy, compliance, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently while meeting goals and upholding brand promises.
