OSP Drafter
Job Title: OSP Drafter Company: TELICS Job Type: Full-time Location: Remote Position Overview: We are seeking a talented and motivated OSP Drafter to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of high-performance fiber optic networks. You will work closely with other engineers, project managers, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of fiber optic infrastructure projects. Responsibilities: ● Develop and maintain accurate fiber drawings for OSP infrastructure projects using MicroStation ● Utilize our proprietary software (FMS) to perform connectivity and signal trace reports ● Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and field crews to ensure drawings reflect design intent and field modifications ● Learn and apply drafting principles and symbols according to company standards ● Analyze and incorporate field data, including as-built locations of poles, conduits, cables, and other OSP equipment ● Utilize redlining and mark-up tools to incorporate feedback and revisions ● Adhere to company quality control procedures for drawing accuracy and completeness ● Manage and organize project files electronically Qualifications: ● Minimum 1 year of experience as an F3-F4 Designer or similar role ● Experience using CAD software, e.g., AutoCAD, MicroStation is a plus ● Strong understanding of drafting principles and symbols ● Excellent attention to detail and accuracy ● Excellent communication and collaboration skills ● Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational skills and time management skills
