[Remote] Accounting Manager Consultant
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Sayva Solutions is an accounting, finance, technology, business transformation and human resources professional services firm. They are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager Consultant to support key accounting functions and provide senior-level accounting support on various projects.
Responsibilities
- Support month-end and quarter-end close activities across various accounting functions
- Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
- Assist with accounting related to equity compensation, stock-based compensation, and other compensation-related transactions
- Support accounting for goodwill, intangible assets, and other technical accounting areas as needed
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve accounting issues and ensure timely financial reporting
- Contribute to process improvements while maintaining accuracy in a dynamic environment
- Provide senior-level accounting support on special projects and other ad hoc initiatives
Skills
- Manager-level accounting experience within a large public company environment
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and month-end close processes
- Familiarity with goodwill, intangible assets, and technical accounting concepts
- Proven ability to quickly adapt, work independently, and succeed in environments with evolving priorities
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with equity compensation and stock-based compensation accounting preferred
- CPA preferred
- Big Four or national public accounting firm experience strongly preferred
