[Remote] AI Process Engineer

Contech Systems Inc. is seeking a hands-on AI engineer to design, build, and deploy enterprise GenAI solutions in the healthcare insurance industry. The role involves developing AI applications, integrating LLM providers, and collaborating across teams to create scalable AI-enabled solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy enterprise GenAI solutions
- Building AI applications using LLMs
- Integrate and orchestrate multiple LLM providers within enterprise applications
- Engineering production-ready AI solutions using APIs, tool calling, and workflow orchestration
- Collaborating across business, architecture, and data teams to translate business processes into scalable AI-enabled solutions
Skills
- Strong hands-on software development experience with Python (or another AI-focused programming language)
- Practical experience building AI applications using LLMs, including prompt orchestration and model integration
- Foundational understanding of modern AI architectures and patterns, including: Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Model Context Protocol (MCP), Autonomous/Agentic AI systems
- Experience building AI workflows using frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph
- Ability to integrate and orchestrate multiple LLM providers (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Gemini) within enterprise applications
- Experience engineering production-ready AI solutions using APIs, tool calling, and workflow orchestration
- Comfortable collaborating across business, architecture, and data teams to translate business processes into scalable AI-enabled solutions
