[Remote] Analyst, Data Management (ROPS)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. DaVita Kidney Care is a leading healthcare company focused on providing high-quality kidney care. They are seeking a Data Management Analyst responsible for implementing and updating data systems to create accessible and accurate data for business teams within Revenue Operations.
Responsibilities
- Builds data systems, data models or assists in the building of databases through proficiency in technical skills needed (SQL, Oracle, Netezza)
- Independently exports, transforms and loads data tables into data repositories in order to support maintenance of multiple databases
- Demonstrates thorough understanding for a specific business lane or specific scope of data, the source systems where that data exists, the data repositories that it can be accessed from, and for how data gets from its source system to repository
- Solves problems by identifying key drivers & developing hypothesis based approach
- Leads training sessions & office hours to help end users adopt best practices with visualization tool usage
- Proactively raises awareness when issues arise that impact data tables, process or business metrics within their work stream
- Business lead for User Acceptance testing; has reputation of timely, error free work; identifies ways to prevent further systems issues
- Develops requirements by collaborating with business partners and translating needs for a specific business or data table
- Effectively coordinates working sessions & facilitates interactions between business teams and/or IT (ex. Requirement review sessions, project status meetings & post-deployment feedback sessions); synthesizes and sends meeting recaps including next steps
- Directs & executes on next steps to progress own work stream; identifies & recommends new opportunities to improve existing processes
- Maintains up to date documentation of data/process dependencies for a lane of business and needed requirements/updates for data systems
- Proactively communicates around deadlines & roadblocks
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in related field of study (STEM, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Business)
- 2 to 4 years' experience OR applicable work experience
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Strong quantitative & problem solving skills including analytical modeling and insight generation
- Ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, easily digestible manner to a range of audiences including senior leaders

- Master's degree preferred
- Experience using other analytical tools such as SQL, Tableau, VBA, Python, Access, etc. preferred
- Experience in healthcare and/or revenue cycle preferred
