Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AMS Staffing Inc. is seeking a Contract Senior Practice Lawyer to support its Asset & Corporate Finance practice group. The role involves representing lenders and servicers in commercial mortgage-backed securities and real estate finance matters.
Responsibilities
- Advising on performing and non-performing CMBS loans
- Handling loan modifications, assumptions, and equity transfers
- Reviewing and negotiating consent requests
- Drafting demand letters and assisting with pre-default matters
- Supporting ongoing commercial real estate lending and servicing transactions
Skills
- Must reside and be licensed in North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, Massachusetts, Illinois, Pennsylvania, Missouri, California, Florida, Tennessee, New York, New Jersey, Oregon, Washington, Washington D.C., Delaware
- Bachelor's degree required: Yes
- 5+ years of commercial real estate finance or financing transaction experience
- Ability to manage matters independently in a fast-paced environment
- Active bar license in state of North Carolina
- CMBS, lender-side finance, loan servicing, or workout experience strongly preferred
