[Remote] Clinical Analyst Coord-EPIC
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Southcoast Health is a not-for-profit health system providing comprehensive healthcare in Southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island. They are seeking a Clinical Analyst Coord-EPIC to support clinical systems and end users by analyzing workflows, assessing system needs, and training end-users.
Responsibilities
- Performing analysis of workflow
- Assessment of system needs and requirements
- Planning, designing, and testing of systems and interfaces
- Coordinating work efforts with applicable MIS and organizational personnel
- Training end-users as required
- Documenting and troubleshooting work involved in systems implementation and maintenance
- Acting as liaison to physicians and clinical area end users
Skills
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing or ancillary clinical discipline or equivalent knowledge and experience
- Experience supporting Epic and/or other healthcare information systems
- PC-based computer skills, spreadsheet and word processing proficiency
- Five (5) years MIS and/or clinical experience, including three (3) years in similar and related position
- Must obtain Epic certification
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired
- Technical/programming experience
- CPHMIS or ANA Nursing Informatics Certification
- Possessing a Healthy Planet certification or other relevant certifications
