[Remote] Cloud Security Engineer (GCP - Google Cloud Platform)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. York Solutions, LLC is looking for a Cloud Security Engineer specializing in Google Cloud Platform. The role involves developing mitigation plans for cloud security issues, managing cloud secrets, and addressing root causes to prevent future occurrences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute mitigation plans to address high-priority issues in GCP, Azure or AWS
- Coordinate the rotation of mismanaged cloud secrets which can only be done by the end users (engineering or infrastructure teams)
- While your main goal will be fixing existing cloud resources, you will need to address the root cause to avoid the issues from reoccurring in future deployments
Skills
- Must have solid experience working with Google Cloud Platform - GCP
- Overall 14+ Years of Cloud Security Background
- Minimum 4+ years of recent GCP experience
- Infrastructure-as-Code
- Experience with GitHub or Atlantis
- Develop and execute mitigation plans to address high-priority issues in GCP, Azure or AWS
- Coordinate the rotation of mismanaged cloud secrets which can only be done by the end users (engineering or infrastructure teams)
- Address the root cause to avoid the issues from reoccurring in future deployments
