[Remote] Cloud Support Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. SkyBridge Resources is seeking a Cloud Support Engineer to implement and manage cloud strategies. The role involves standardizing quality assurance procedures, overseeing testing and debugging, and collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance cloud-based products and services.
Responsibilities
- Standardizes the quality assurance procedure for software
- Oversees testing and debugging and develops fixes
- Implements cloud strategy including design, planning, integration, maintenance, and support of cloud architecture
- Collaborates with stakeholders, product managers, and engineers to evaluate cloud systems, identify solutions, and develop specifications for cloud-based products, services, and applications
- Drives the roll-out of cloud management platforms, evaluates performance, and implements enhancements
- Understands professional concepts, standards, regulations, strategies, and operating standards
- Makes decisions regarding work approach and priorities while following direction
Skills
- Strong C# proficiency with .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 6+, ASP.NET (MVC, Web API, Blazor), Entity Framework (EF Core), Azure Functions, and Web API development
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, Azure Entra, Azure AD B2C, Identity Server, SAML, SSO, JWT, and role-based/claims-based authorization
- Solid understanding of OWASP Top 10, secure coding practices, vulnerability remediation, security audits, ZAP, and application and infrastructure security
- Microsoft SQL Server, database design, normalization, stored procedures, functions, and SSIS
- Networking fundamentals including DNS, VPN, VPC, firewalls, load balancing, Azure networking, IAM, network security groups, virtual networks, and Disaster Recovery
- Azure and GCP cloud platforms including Apigee API Management Platform, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure SQL Database, Azure Cosmos DB, Azure DevOps, Azure Active Directory, Microsoft Entra, Application Insights, Azure Monitor, and Key Vault
- Monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and advanced debugging
- Windows Server administration, Internet Information Services (IIS), Application Pool configuration, PowerShell scripting, and CI/CD using Azure DevOps with automated testing and deployment strategies
