[Remote] Commissioning Manager – Semiconductor Fab Project
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. TTS Energy Services is seeking an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead mechanical systems commissioning on a major semiconductor fab construction project. The role involves managing commissioning activities, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring documentation and handover of systems to the client.
Responsibilities
- Lead commissioning activities across mechanical systems (HVAC, UPW, process cooling water, chemical systems, exhaust) from construction completion through system handover
- Build and track commissioning plans, schedules, and tracking matrices across trades and disciplines
- Coordinate daily/weekly commissioning activities with construction, quality, and client teams
- Drive punch list generation and closeout to support milestone deliverables
- Perform and support system walk-downs, trade walk-downs, and construction-complete inspections
- Manage documentation: test packs, method statements, commissioning records through project completion
- Coordinate startup and handover of mechanical systems and rooms to the client
Skills
- 8+ years of commissioning experience in semiconductor fab, cleanroom, or comparable high-tech industrial construction environments
- Demonstrated track record leading commissioning on large-scale fab or mission-critical facility builds
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical systems: HVAC, UPW, process cooling, chemical delivery, exhaust/scrubber systems
- Experience coordinating across EPC, client, and multi-trade teams on complex builds
- Strong documentation, scheduling, and punch-list management skills
- Ability to relocate and work on-site full-time for the duration of the project
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship, now and for the duration of the role
- Prior experience with major fab operators (Intel, TSMC, Samsung, Micron, or similar) or their EPC/commissioning partners (Fluor, Exyte, Jacobs, M+W Group, or similar)
- International project experience
- OSHA 30 or equivalent safety certification
