[Remote] Copywriting/Social Media (Intern)

They are seeking a Copywriting/Social Media Intern to build digital brand awareness through marketing materials and develop engaging content for their brands.
Responsibilities
- Write marketing copy
- Write and distribute press releases
- Create and disseminate monthly newsletters
- Create brand awareness via social media platforms
- Develop a successful social media strategy that builds on our audience base across multiple platforms
- Write and distribute relevant content to social media
- Monitor and engage our audiences via our social media platforms
- Increase fans, likes, and follows
- Track social media engagement statistics
Skills
- The candidate must be passionate about public relations and connecting with brands
- The candidate must be able to write target marketing/social media copy
- The candidate should possess an aptitude for using various social media platforms for marketing and branding purposes
- The candidate must have experience developing and writing targeted press releases
- The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication
- The candidate should be a self-starter and able to work with minimal to medium supervision
- The candidate should have at least six months of experience in copywriting, public relations, and/or social media in a professional environment
