[Remote] Data Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing large datasets to generate actionable insights that inform strategic business decisions and support text and document annotation initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large, complex datasets to uncover trends and actionable insights using Excel, Google Sheets, SQL and Python
- Collaborate with Senior Analysts and Lead Analysts to interpret client data and propose data-driven strategies
- Clean, validate, and pre-process client datasets for analysis and modeling
- Translate analysis into compelling business narratives and strategic recommendations
- Build lightweight scripts and workflows to automate data handling and save time
- Continuously improve internal workflows and enhance analytical processes
- Collaborate on tool configurations, and enhancements to boost efficiency
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- 2–3 years of relevant experience working in Manufacturing, Aerospace, Consumer, Automotive, or other product companies/startups
- Strong end-to-end ownership with the ability to independently drive projects from problem definition through execution
- Able to understand business objectives and translate them into actionable insights through data analysis and technical/domain expertise
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Must Have: Python, Excel (or Google Sheets), SQL
- Eligibility: This position requires candidates to qualify as a U.S. Person under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) (22 C.F.R. 120.62). Candidates must also be physically located in the United States, including Puerto Rico and other U.S. territories
