[Remote] Data Science Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Stride, Inc. is a company focused on improving academic and business outcomes through data-driven insights. They are seeking a Data Science Analyst to assist in the preparation, design, and execution of models and data products, while analyzing various data sources to answer relevant research questions.
Responsibilities
- Leverage products such as: DBT, SQL, Python and GitHub to collect, organize and model data sets for peak functionality per business requirement
- Design, Create, Deploy and Maintain various products and applications through the Power BI service
- Provide ad-hoc analyses to drive insights, provide overviews of major conclusions, constraints or cautions
- Participate in cross functional relationships in order to synthetize data domain knowledge
- Support initiatives for data integrity and normalization including but not limited to data ownership
- Process confidential data and information according to guidelines
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Information & Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field, or equivalent training
- Three (3) years of relevant professional experience with BI tools and SQL modeling, including at least three (1) year of experience performing action and outcome-oriented data analysis
- Demonstrated experience in handling large data sets and relational databases for BI products
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
- Ability to clear required background check
