[Remote] Data Scientist – Generative AI & Agentic AI
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. JSR Tech Consulting is seeking an experienced Data Scientist with strong expertise in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and Machine Learning to join an innovative technology team within a leading financial services organization. In this role, you'll collaborate with various technical experts to design, build, and deploy production-grade AI solutions that drive meaningful business outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy production-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions
- Build AI agents, orchestration frameworks, and context engineering pipelines
- Design and implement Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers to securely expose enterprise tools, APIs, and data sources to AI agents
- Develop Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns and multi-agent architectures for complex business workflows
- Perform prompt engineering, context engineering, and structured output design
- Write production-quality Python code and participate in the full AI software development lifecycle
- Partner with Machine Learning Engineers to productionize AI models and solutions
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to build scalable data pipelines
- Work with Software Engineers to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications
- Research emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and best practices
- Continuously improve AI solutions through testing, monitoring, evaluation, and optimization
Skills
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Physics, Econometrics, Actuarial Science, or another quantitative discipline
- Strong experience designing and deploying production AI solutions
- Excellent analytical, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating across cross-functional teams
- Passion for learning emerging AI technologies and solving complex business problems
- Strong experience with Generative AI and Large Language Models (LLMs)
- Hands-on experience with Agentic AI, AI agents, and multi-agent architectures
- Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
- Experience using LangChain, LangGraph, and vector databases
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and context engineering techniques
- Experience building AI orchestration frameworks and evaluation pipelines
- Experience developing MCP Servers and integrating enterprise APIs with AI agents
- Experience implementing Agent-to-Agent (A2A) communication patterns
- Strong understanding of the complete AI development lifecycle, including deployment, monitoring, model versioning, observability, and Responsible AI practices
- Strong knowledge of Machine Learning theory and model development
- Experience acquiring and transforming data using APIs, SQL, and Python
- Experience with data wrangling, feature engineering, and processing structured and unstructured datasets
- Strong SQL and database design knowledge
- Experience working with AWS cloud environments and DevOps practices
- Strong programming skills using Python and SQL
- Experience deploying enterprise AI applications in AWS
- Experience with AI CI/CD pipelines and model lifecycle management
- Experience integrating AI solutions into enterprise software platforms
- Experience building scalable cloud-native AI solutions
- Financial services experience is a plus
