[Remote] EDI Developer/Business Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tekniforce is seeking a Sterling Integrator (SI) Developer with strong analyst capabilities for an immediate contract opportunity. This role will support a data-intensive integration project involving information gathering and SI development activities, requiring both technical development and business analysis functions.
Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and validate data from Syncrofy and archived data sources
- Develop and maintain IBM Sterling Integrator maps and Business Processes (BPs)
- Configure and support SI envelope setups
- Investigate integration issues identified during testing and implement fixes as needed
- Review, enhance, and track QA test plans and testing status
- Coordinate meetings and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders
- Analyze EDI transactions and specifications to support integration requirements
- Assist with troubleshooting, data validation, and root-cause analysis
- Document findings, mappings, and integration processes
Skills
- Strong experience with IBM Sterling Integrator (SI) Development
- Mapping development
- Business Process (BP) development
- SI envelope configuration and setup
- Unix/Linux navigation and basic command-line search skills
- Experience working with XMLX12 EDI CSV file formats
- Experience using Syncrofy
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to read and interpret EDI specifications and transaction documents
- Strong analytical and data-gathering capabilities
- QA test plan review, enhancement, and status tracking experience
- Meeting coordination and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience supporting EDI implementations and integrations
- Ability to bridge technical and business requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience working in testing and defect-resolution cycles
