[Remote] EHR Healthcare Interoperability Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Software Technology Inc. is focused on enhancing healthcare connectivity and interoperability. They are seeking an EHR Healthcare Interoperability Analyst to provide technical expertise in EHR integration and support healthcare organizations in utilizing NC HealthConnex effectively.
Responsibilities
- Lead EHR onboarding and integration with NC HealthConnex, working with providers and EHR vendors
- Support interoperability standards including HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, and USCDI
- Validate and troubleshoot clinical data submissions to ensure data quality and compliance
- Provide technical training and support on NC HealthConnex services, including NC•Notify and the provider portal
- Collaborate with internal teams, providers, and vendors to resolve integration issues and enhance onboarding processes
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA, NC HIEA standards, and healthcare data exchange requirements
Skills
- 5+ years of experience with EHR platforms such as Epic, Cerner/Oracle Health, Allscripts/Veradigm, or NextGen
- 5+ years of experience with healthcare interoperability standards (HL7 v2, C-CDA, CCD, FHIR, USCDI)
- 5+ years of experience in EHR integration, clinical data validation, and troubleshooting
- 3+ years of experience interpreting clinical workflows and mapping data exchange requirements
- Strong communication skills and knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare data privacy
- Experience with Health Information Exchange (HIE) onboarding and multi-vendor EHR environments
- Knowledge of SQL, interface engines, or data mapping tools
- Familiarity with NC HIEA initiatives, Medicaid digital health programs, or NCQA standards
- Experience supporting rural or underserved healthcare organizations
