[Remote] Embedded Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. 5V Tech is seeking an experienced Embedded AI Software Engineer to help develop and deploy next-generation AI solutions for edge devices. This role focuses on refining and optimizing AI models for deployment on embedded hardware, particularly in audio and computer vision applications.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy next-generation AI solutions for edge devices
- Refine and optimise existing AI models for deployment on embedded hardware with emphasis on audio and computer vision applications
- Work across the full AI deployment pipeline, transforming machine learning models into highly efficient, production-ready solutions capable of running on resource-constrained embedded systems
Skills
- Experience deploying AI models to embedded or edge devices
- Strong knowledge of TensorFlow Lite, TensorFlow Lite Micro, TinyML, or ONNX Runtime
- Experience working with computer vision and/or audio AI models
- Strong programming skills in C/C++
- Python for AI tooling and deployment workflows
- Experience developing for ARM Cortex-based processors and microcontrollers
- Experience with RTOS and/or Embedded Linux
- Understanding of memory-constrained and power-constrained embedded environments
