[Remote] Epic Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. CSI Companies is hiring an Epic Project Manager to work with one of their top healthcare clients. The role involves leading complex healthcare IT initiatives with a focus on Epic and ERP-related projects, managing project plans, coordinating teams, and ensuring successful delivery through effective communication and risk management.
Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and milestones
- Maintain RAID logs and proactively manage project risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies
- Oversee project budgets and monitor financial performance
- Coordinate with vendors and third-party partners to ensure successful project execution
- Provide regular project updates and executive-level communication
- Manage resource planning and project staffing needs
- Lead cross-functional teams across IT and operational departments
- Coordinate projects involving Epic applications and workflows across multiple teams, including Ambulatory, Revenue Cycle, Inpatient, Clinical, Interfaces, and other Epic areas
- Manage projects involving Workday and other ERP initiatives
- Collaborate with Finance, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Payroll, IT, and operational leadership
- Coordinate dependencies between Epic and ERP projects when applicable
Skills
- Strong project management experience leading complex healthcare IT projects
- Demonstrated experience creating and managing project plans, timelines, RAID logs, budgets, and resource plans
- Experience with vendor management and executive stakeholder communication
- Broad understanding of Epic implementations and healthcare workflows across multiple application areas
- Experience managing Workday or other ERP-related projects
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate enterprise-wide initiatives
- Epic certification is not required
