[Remote] Finance Analyst
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Babcock International Group is a global FTSE 100 organization committed to creating a safe and secure world. They are seeking a Finance Analyst to support their Group Financial Planning and Analysis team by providing insights into cash processes and financial performance across the business.
Responsibilities
- Extracting and analysing financial data from multiple sources including ledgers, payroll, VAT returns and bank statements
- Developing and maintaining robust cash forecasting models to support accurate reporting
- Supporting monthly rolling forecast processes by delivering insightful data and analysis
- Investigating and explaining variances between forecasts and actual results
- Identifying opportunities to improve processes and enhance financial reporting efficiency
Skills
- Experience analysing and interpreting financial data to deliver clear insights
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including building and maintaining financial models
- Experience working with finance systems such as SAP, IFS or similar platforms
- Proven ability to identify issues and implement process improvements
- The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) / Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role
- A relevant finance, accounting or business-related qualification or working towards one (e.g. AAT, ACCA, CIMA) is desirable
