[Remote] Financial Due Diligence Manager

MBO Partners is a leading global professional services firm seeking Manager-level consultants with deep Financial Due Diligence expertise. The role involves executing financial due diligence for various transactions and collaborating with senior stakeholders on client deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Execute financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital market transactions
• Analyze key areas of the Income Statement and Balance Sheet to identify risks and business drivers
• Lead assessments of net working capital, debt and debt-like items, and operational metrics
• Draft and deliver Quality of Earnings reports and other transaction advisory deliverables
• Develop tailored reports addressing normalized earnings, valuation inputs, budget achievability, indebtedness, and carve-out financials
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders on client deliverables and engagement execution
• Participate in proposal development and client calls as needed

Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 7+ years of experience in Financial Due Diligence, Transaction Advisory Services, or Transaction Services
• Direct experience supporting buy-side and/or sell-side transaction engagements
• Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience performing Quality of Earnings analyses, net working capital assessments, and debt/debt-like analyses
• Ability to contribute immediately with minimal onboarding or training
• Excellent analytical, written, and communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required
• As a contractor, including remote contractors, you may be required to complete a background check
• CPA is highly valued and considered a significant plus
