[Remote] Forward Deployed Senior AI / ML Engineer

They are seeking a Forward Deployed Senior AI / ML Engineer to work directly with customers, designing and deploying production AI systems that address real-world operational challenges.
Responsibilities
- Designing and deploying production AI systems that solve real-world operational challenges
- Work across the full lifecycle of AI delivery
- Partnering directly with end users
- Translating complex requirements into technical solutions
- Deploying modern AI capabilities into secure environments
Skills
- Clearance Eligible Candidates Required
- Strong Python engineering skills
- Experience deploying AI/ML systems into production
- Exposure to agentic workflows, RAG, and LLM-powered applications
- Solid machine learning foundations
- A builder's mindset and high degree of ownership
- The ability to operate in ambiguous environments
- Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
- Defense, intelligence, or government environments
- Security clearance (active or previously held)
- Classified or air-gapped systems
- Kubernetes, Docker, Linux, or cloud infrastructure
- Early-stage startup environments
- Customer-embedded or forward-deployed engineering roles
