[Remote] Freelance Software Tester (Remote in Iowa)

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Testlio is a global software testing company seeking freelance software testers based in Iowa to test a popular wagering app. The role involves performing smoke testing on mobile and web platforms during specific low-traffic hours and requires testers to report any functional issues or defects encountered during testing.

Responsibilities

• Providing concise notes and evidence (screenshots / screen recordings if requested in the run)
• Launching the product on your available platform(s)
• Creating a consumer account on a wagering platform, which will include going through a KYC (know-your-customer) flow. Because this platform complies with US federal and state regulations, you will be required to use your own legal information to register. You should be prepared to provide: Full Legal Name and Date of Birth; Current US Address; Social Security Number (SSN)
• Running through key wagering flows (for example: placing a wager, checking wager status, basic navigation, and other core actions defined in the run instructions)
• Capturing and reporting any functional issues, crashes, obvious UI defects, or blocking problems in the wagering flow

Skills

• You have to be at least 21 years old
• Must be physically located in Iowa
• You have to be available to test between 3:00 AM - 5:00 AM US local time for 30 to 1h
• You will need an Android Phone or Tablet in order to participate in this project
• Software testing experience is a plus, but if you are new to testing, we offer free courses to help you learn and grow
