[Remote] FULL REMOTE - Labor And Employment Attorney

Law Office is a prominent Labor and Employment law firm in California, focusing exclusively on representing employers in labor and employment matters. They are currently seeking Employment Attorneys across California to work on high-quality matters while maintaining a healthy work-life balance through a flexible hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities
- Defend employers in employment litigation, including single-plaintiff, class action, and PAGA matters in state and federal courts
- Represent clients in administrative proceedings (e.g., DFEH/CRD, EEOC, DLSE)
- Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Advise clients on day-to-day employment law issues including wage & hour, discipline, leave laws, and workplace policies
- Draft and revise employee handbooks, policies, and employment agreements
- Participate in mediations, depositions, and trial preparation
- Support partners and collaborate with the team on complex cases and client counseling
Skills
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active member in good standing with the California State Bar
- 1+ years of labor & employment defense experience (plaintiff-side experience will be considered if transitioning to defense)
- Experience with wage & hour litigation, PAGA, and class actions cases
