[Remote] Full Stack Developer I

FedEx Freight is a leading logistics company, and they are seeking a Full Stack Developer I to support the design, coding, testing, and deployment of software across various layers of the development life cycle. The role involves collaborating with colleagues and stakeholders, ensuring code quality, and complying with industry standards and company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with designing software code using multiple programming languages
  • Tests newly developed software code
  • Documents code per the company's processes
  • Collaborates effectively with colleagues, managers, vendors, user focus groups and comments, and other stakeholders
  • Provides assistance with evaluating code, to ensure it meets industry standards and is compatible with all hardware and software
  • Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Skills

  • Bachelor's Degree/equivalent in computer science, engineering, or information systems and/or directly related work experience two (2) years' work experience in information technology or engineering
  • Strong programming skills
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Proven computer/coding skills in multiple languages
  • Analytical, problem solving, time management, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Good presentation skills and ability to handle multiple projects
  • Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with professionals from a range of technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • Foundational knowledge of Salesforce, including basic configuration, data management, or exposure to platform features
  • Basic proficiency in Java or similar object-oriented programming languages for developing and maintaining application logic
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular, including building simple user interface components
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS, including an understanding of basic cloud concepts and services
  • Understanding of API development and integration concepts, including RESTful services and data exchange formats (JSON/XML)
  • Working knowledge of software development fundamentals, including version control (e.g., Git), debugging, and basic testing practices
  • Ability to follow established development standards, documentation, and coding best practices
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies and grow within the Salesforce and full-stack development ecosystem
  • Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail when troubleshooting issues
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members, including developers, analysts, and QA testers in an Agile/Scrum environment
