[Remote] Full Stack Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Radiant Dev is seeking a highly skilled Mid Level Full-Stack Engineer to design, build, and maintain modern, scalable, and user-focused applications. This role requires expertise in React/Next.js for front-end experiences and Java/Spring for robust server-side architecture.
Responsibilities
- End-to-End Development: Design, code, and deploy responsive front-end applications and scalable Java/Spring backend services
- Architecture & Integration: Build and maintain applications using Next.js, React, and TypeScript, while developing and consuming REST/SOAP Web Services and Spring Boot microservices
- Content & Data Management: Integrate with headless CMS platforms and manage relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres
- System Health: Troubleshooting production issues, providing resolutions, and refactoring the codebase to improve maintainability and performance
- Leadership & Collaboration: Mentor junior/intermediate engineers through pairing and technical guidance, and partner with managers to foster team growth
- Quality Standards: Implement rigorous testing (Jest, Cypress, JUnit, Mockito) and utilize modern CI/CD pipelines for safe, frequent deployments
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or equivalent
- 7+ years of professional experience in full-stack or specialized software development
- Expert knowledge of React, Next.js, JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript
- Knowledge of web standards, accessibility (WCAG), and SEO
- Expert level knowledge of Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, and API security
- Proficiency with modern front-end tools (Webpack, ESLint)
- Proficiency with backend environments like Tomcat and AWS
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Git/Bitbucket
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum practices including TDD and Pair Programming
- Strong communication skills for a remote environment
- Deep passion for delivering high-quality user experiences
