[Remote] Grant Writing Intern
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Allina Health is a not-for-profit health system that cares for individuals, families and communities throughout Minnesota and western Wisconsin. The Grant Writing Intern expands the Foundation’s capacity to pursue philanthropic revenue by supporting grant research, writing, reporting, and administrative activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation, writing, and submission of grant proposals and applications
- Conduct prospect research to identify potential foundation, corporate, and community grant opportunities
- Support grant reporting, tracking deadlines, and maintaining grant records
- Draft correspondence, summaries, and supporting materials for grant submissions
- Assist with data collection and program information needed for grant proposals and reports
- Manage routine and low to midlevel grant opportunities with AHF staff oversight and coaching
- Support special projects and administrative tasks related to philanthropy and foundation operations
- Collaborate with Foundation team members to ensure timely and accurate grant submissions
- Contribute ideas for process improvements and increased efficiency within grant development activities
- Other duties as assigned
Skills

- Lifting weight up to 32 lbs. occasionally, up to 25 lbs. frequently
