[Remote] Head of Finance
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Vetto AI is building the infrastructure for next-generation AI training data, and they are seeking a Head of Finance to design and own the financial function from the ground up. The role involves driving financial planning and analysis, managing cash flow, and supporting fundraising processes while partnering directly with co-founders on financial strategy.
Responsibilities
- Build and own Vetto's financial function from the ground up — processes, controls, and governance
- Drive FP&A: forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning
- Manage cash flow, liquidity planning, and working capital end-to-end
- Own budget vs. actual analysis and build management dashboards and KPI reporting
- Oversee accounts payable & receivable and treasury operations
- Lead revenue recognition, margin analysis, and receivables financing
- Support fundraising processes and investor due diligence
- Partner directly with co-founders on financial strategy and key business decisions
Skills
- Strong background in FP&A and financial operations
- Experience at a Seed / Series A or B startup or high-growth company
- Proven ability to build financial processes, controls, and governance from scratch
- Comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-paced, iterative environment
- Experience at an early-stage startup
- Consulting background with a subsequent startup stint
- Experience supporting fundraising rounds and investor reporting
- Exposure to international treasury across multiple currencies
- Familiarity with financial modeling for AI/tech business models
