[Remote] Healthcare IT Project Manager
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Jobot Consulting is seeking a dynamic and motivated Consulting Healthcare IT Project Manager to join their Tech Services team. This role is pivotal in supporting both Data and Business App projects, ensuring the successful execution of healthcare IT initiatives that drive value and improve patient care.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a variety of healthcare IT projects, including data projects such as analytics dashboards, regulatory requirements, and AI chatbots or agents
- Oversee Business App projects, including Revenue Cycle and HR applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business objectives
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents
- Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools
- Track project milestones and deliverables
- Conduct project post mortems and create a recommendations report to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare IT project management, with a focus on data and business app projects
- Proven experience in overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products
- Experience with ambulatory and inpatient settings
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing complex projects that are strategic in nature and global in scope
- Strong understanding of AI chatbots, data analytics, and regulatory requirements in the healthcare industry
- Experience with Revenue Cycle and HR applications
- Excellent leadership, communication (written, verbal and presentation), and interpersonal skills
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in project management software
- PMP preferred
- Strong budget experience preferred
- PMP certification is a plus
