[Remote] Jr. Front End Developer (Remote)
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. FMG is a leading all-in-one digital marketing platform empowering financial advisors and enterprises with scalable marketing solutions. They are seeking a Jr. Front End Developer to provide website maintenance, collaborate on projects, and enhance user experiences through web development best practices.
Responsibilities
- Provide website maintenance and enhancements to existing websites through the use of CSS, JS, and HTML
- Work closely with team members from various teams to ensure that client requests are consistent to the overall design of the website and follow web development best practices
- Collaborate with our team on projects to improve scalability, performance, and usability across our platform
- Access to a private & secure workspace, free from distractions
- Accessible during the assigned work schedule for regular duties and responsibilities as outlined by the supervisor
- An internet connection with speeds of 5 Megabits down / 3 Megabits up (5mbps/3mbps)
Skills
- Strong educational background in Computer Science or similar experience
- Web markup, including HTML, CSS, Sass, and Javascript (jQuery)
- Proficient understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS
- Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Proficient understanding of accessibility and performance standards
- An eye for design and web aesthetics
- Fast learner and collaborative team player
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills
- Familiarity with Git, Amazon AWS, Hubspot
- Knowledge of version control, continuous integration methodologies
