[Remote] Lead Software Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Tenth Revolution Group is a fast-growing, product-led technology company building modern customer experience software. They are looking for a Lead Software Engineer to help design and build scalable backend systems, while also contributing to architecture and engineering direction within a small, high-performing team.
Responsibilities
- Designing and building scalable backend services and APIs
- Working with cloud-native infrastructure (primarily AWS)
- Developing microservices and event-driven systems
- Contributing to AI-enabled workflows and automation
- Improving CI/CD pipelines and developer tooling
- Collaborating with product and leadership on technical decisions
- Owning features from concept through to deployment
Skills
- Strong backend engineering experience (Python)
- Hands-on experience with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Experience building APIs, microservices, or distributed systems
- Ability to take ownership and deliver independently
- Interest in working with modern tools and AI-assisted development
- Experience with Kafka or event-driven architectures
- Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes, or Terraform
- Experience building or using AI-powered tools
- Background in startup or scale-up environments
