Crossing Hurdles is seeking a US Tax Accountant (CPA/CA) to ensure compliance and accuracy in interpreting US tax law statutes and IRS regulations. The role involves evaluating AI-generated translations, designing test scenarios, and collaborating with the team to optimize AI-driven tax solutions.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret raw US tax law statutes and IRS regulations to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Evaluate AI-generated translations of tax statutes for logical and legal fidelity, approving or providing feedback as necessary
- Design and review test scenarios to capture edge cases and ensure comprehensive coverage of tax regulations
- Utilize structured written communication to document reviews and provide clear, actionable feedback
- Work within digital review platforms to validate content and enhance AI learning outcomes
- Collaborate with the team to continually refine and optimize AI-driven tax solutions
Skills
- Have exceptional ability to interpret statutory and regulatory text, including conditions, thresholds, and defined terms
- Have proven experience reviewing legal documents and IRS regulations beyond standard tax return preparation
- Demonstrate strong written communication skills for providing structured and actionable feedback
- Have familiarity with digital review/UI platforms and a willingness to engage in technology-driven processes
