[Remote] Legal Counsel
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Firm Advice is conducting a search on behalf of a significant, international technology client for a temporary counsel. The Counsel position will support the Contracts Department in the direct procurement contracting process, including drafting and negotiating various agreements.
Responsibilities
- Support the Contracts Department in the direct procurement contracting process
- Drafting and negotiating hardware and SaaS agreements
- Drafting enterprise software licenses
- Drafting IT and engineering‑related professional services
- Drafting SOWs, amendments, order forms, and renewals
Skills
- 5 plus years' experience drafting and negotiating procurement agreements for hardware components incorporated into finished manufactured products
- Ability to work independently and as a team, in a fast-paced, collegial environment
- Experience with software and service contracts
- Experience in a heavily regulated industry
- Experience working with contract management software
