[Remote] Manager, Revenue Accounting

The Manager, Revenue Accounting will be responsible for overseeing the accounting for revenue and billing functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and leading a team to improve revenue processes.
Responsibilities
- Own the accounting and transaction recording for SaaS and on-prem software licenses under revenue recognition (ASC 606) including deferred revenue and contract assets
- Interpret new customer license agreements, SOWs and amendments to track and apply appropriate billing and revenue recognition schedules
- Reconcile commissions on new deals, and apply the proper accounting treatment
- Report monthly revenue results to FP&A team and assist with revenue forecasting
- Serve as contract for the Company's external auditors and consultants to ensure compliance with accounting standards and Company policies
- Work towards scaling, automation and continuous improvement of AR and revenue processes

Skills
- 4-6 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- CPA
- Deep working operational knowledge of ASC 606 for SaaS companies, and billing/collections experience
- Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and responsiveness
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Managerial experience preferred
- Experience with NetSuite/OpenAir preferred
