[Remote] Marketing & Content Creator
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Octup is a global startup building the agentic AI layer for the logistics industry, and they are seeking their first dedicated marketing hire. The role requires someone who is not only skilled in marketing but also enjoys creating content, with responsibilities that include demand generation, event planning, and customer marketing.
Responsibilities
- Content & Social - LinkedIn (founder + brand), video content, newsletters, thought leadership, category-defining content
- Demand Generation - Landing pages, email sequences, conversion assets that drive pipeline
- Events - Plan and run customer tours, industry events, and meetups. Build repeatable playbooks
- Customer Marketing - Case studies, testimonials, and sales collateral from real customer stories
- Marketing Ops, Vendors, and Contractors
Skills
- Must record a 2-3-minute video of yourself in English
- Comfortable being on camera, shooting content for yourself and for the brand
- Genuinely enjoy the content creation process
- Own demand creation marketing end-to-end - strategy, content, events, and execution
- Content & Social - LinkedIn (founder + brand), video content, newsletters, thought leadership, category-defining content
- Demand Generation - Landing pages, email sequences, conversion assets that drive pipeline
- Plan and run customer tours, industry events, and meetups
- Build repeatable playbooks for events
- Create case studies, testimonials, and sales collateral from real customer stories
- Manage Marketing Ops, Vendors, and Contractors
- On-camera and camera-comfortable
- Excellent-level English (native or near-native)
- High-energy, content-obsessed, lives and breathes social media - TikTok, LinkedIn, Reels, Shorts
- Experienced in planning and executing events and content operations
- Natural organizer - can run a content calendar and an event in the same week
- B2B SaaS marketing background, at least 2 years at an early-stage company
- AI-fluent (Claude, GPT, and others)
- Data-driven
