Remote Online Fitness Coach (Certified)
About the Role
Lazarus Productions LLC is hiring certified fitness coaches to join our online coaching division. This is a fully remote 1099 contract position for credentialed professionals who want to build a sustainable online coaching practice with established systems, programming infrastructure, and ongoing professional support already in place. This is not a role for new coaches looking to break into the industry. This is for certified, experienced coaches who are ready to coach seriously and grow a roster of online clients within a proven framework.
What You'll Do
- Coach a roster of online clients through a structured program library covering strength, conditioning, hybrid training, and lifestyle programming
- Deliver weekly client check-ins and provide programming adjustments based on client progress, recovery, and adherence
- Communicate with clients primarily through our coaching app and async messaging (this is not a live video session role)
- Support clients in nutrition habits, recovery, training adherence, and long-term lifestyle change
- Maintain professional documentation of client progress, communication, and program modifications
- Participate in ongoing internal coach education and team development
Required Qualifications
- Active certification from one of the following: NASM, ACE, ISSA, NSCA, ACSM, NCSF, NCCPT, or equivalent nationally recognized credential
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on coaching experience (in-person, online, or hybrid)
- Strong written communication skills - the majority of client interaction is text-based
- Reliable internet, smartphone, and computer access
- Professional self-management and ability to maintain a client roster independently
- US-based and authorized to work in the United States as a 1099 independent contractor
Preferred Qualifications
- Specialty certifications in nutrition (Pn1, NCI, NASM-CNC, ISSA Nutritionist), corrective exercise, or strength and conditioning
- Prior experience coaching clients online or through a coaching app
- Background in CrossFit, strength training, hybrid athletics, or endurance training
How Our Onboarding Works We are transparent about our coach onboarding process up front:
- All new coaches complete a 90-day paid evaluation period to ensure mutual fit between the coach and our coaching standards
- Coaches must complete our internal credentialing program (ICC-1) during onboarding. This is a one-time internal certification specific to our coaching methodology, programming systems, and client communication standards. We discuss the structure and cost transparently in the interview process - we are not interested in coaches who feel uncertain about the model
- Compensation is performance-based with a tiered structure that scales with cumulative roster revenue
- We do NOT charge ongoing platform fees, monthly dues, or recurring costs to our coaches
About Our Hiring Process To respect everyone's time, we conduct initial introductions through scheduled group information webinars rather than one-on-one calls. Qualified applicants will receive an invitation to an upcoming webinar where we walk through the role, compensation structure, ICC-1 program, and answer questions live. Coaches who want to move forward after the webinar will be scheduled for individual interviews. Compensation $45,000 - $96,000+ per year (estimated annual earnings based on roster size and tier). Compensation is structured as a tiered revenue share with no cap on earnings. Full compensation details are reviewed during the webinar. Who This Role Is NOT For
